Why do so many women continue to stay stuck, frustrated, unhappy and miserable in their own skin? I’m gonna let you in on something that I’ve learned over the last 7 years…… what you THINK is your goal – – – losing the 20 pounds (or whatever your goal weight might be) isn’t actually a strong enough reason to create and then stick with new habits that will get you to your goal and sustain it.
Is Losing Weight REALLY the Goal?
Working out and fueling our bodies & minds well really isn’t FOR the weight you wanna lose. Shedding the weight is a positive byproduct of shifting our habits, YES! But you have a goal weight in mind because of how you think you will FEEL when you reach that goal.
It’s a Feeling You’re After
So ask yourself…. How do I want to FEEL every single day? When you focus on THAT, you’ll not only find the time to take care of your mental and physical health, you’ll MAKE the time.
Could you find 20-30 minutes in your day if you KNEW without a doubt that it would create more [insert feeling you desire here]. More energy throughout your entire day? More patience with your kids? More confidence when you look at yourself in the mirror or slip into those skinny jeans? More passion with your spouse in the bedroom? 🥰
I would be willing to bet most of us would trade 30 minutes of scrolling social media or a Netflix show to FEEL those things every single day and become a happier, more vibrant human. So do some digging today!
Sustainable Weight Loss is Possible
If you truly wanna make some changes, think about how you will feel when you become that version of yourself that you know is within you.
