Healing Your Body with Samantha Gladish

Powered by RedCircle

This week, I’m interviewing Samantha Gladish, a health and wellness expert that lives and breathes everything to do with the body, specifically your nutrition. We dive into all the wellness stuff, but we focus a lot on the nutrition piece when healing your body, not from a place of restriction or deprivation, but from a place of freedom. PLUS we dig into mindset and limiting beliefs that hold us back from where we want to be. Samantha is the perfect example of someone who followed her dreams to entrepreneurship and now helps hundreds of women get in tune with their bodies to reach their wellness goals. This one has lots of great nuggets, so don’t miss out!

Show Notes:

01:50 The Pull to Nutrition

Samantha has always felt very drawn to health and wellness, which lead her to a career in nutrition. She then decided to pursue the path of entrepreneurship. She now runs her own business as a nutritionist and coach for those seeking to become professionals in the health and wellness space. She had to do a lot of navigating, but followed her heart tug to pursue the life that she wanted to live.

12:04 Adjustments to Hit Goals

When it comes to working with clients, it’s all about narrowing down their goals and shifting things to get them to where they want to be. She emphasizes that things don’t have to be looked at as a permanent change, it’s simply adjusting in the moment to understand where challenges fall. She doesn’t want anyone to feel completely restricted when making changes, she works to find their sweet spot and what is most important to them.

17:16 Intuitive and Intentional Eating

Samantha talks about diets, fads, and restrictive eating habits that can cause more harm than good. She talks about intuitive eating and listening to what your body is trying to tell you. Your body is smart enough to tell you what it needs, you just have to tune in. Intentional eating is another part, which is based on eating for what you need at that moment. There are going to be days and times when your diet is going to vary based on different factors.

27:42 Healing Your Body

Incorporate some smart strategies, but ultimately trust your body. Get in tune with your goals and align your choices. Make decisions that are going to benefit your body, not just with food, but with other things like fitness and sleep, as well. Ask yourself what is most important to you before anything else.
