In this episode, I am joined by Theresa Levine to talk all about Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). We discuss how to EFT tap, who it’s for, how it applies to entrepreneurship, and how you can implement it into your daily routine. I’m excited to learn more and share with you guys the incredible resource of EFT!
1:48: An Introduction to Theresa Levine & Her Story
Theresa is an EFT Master Practitioner and Energy Coach. She’s living in Maryland, married with 4 boys and she’s an entrepreneur. She’s loved the entrepreneurial journey despite the rollercoaster of emotions it brings. She started in network marketing and never quite got her business to where she wanted to. When she started adding energy psychology into her business, she started to hit her stride and started to dive into the world of EFT.
Last year in March, just before Covid began to spread, she attended a conference where she learned how to EFT tap and the practices within it. It connected the dots for her! She came home with a huge realization that she needed to do something with this.
8:05: Implementing EFT & Who It’s For?
Entrepreneurship and network marketing (especially!) brings so many negative emotions to the surface. It requires so much intentionality and focus around breaking through barriers and overcoming limiting beliefs. EFT has the ability to release those energetic blockages from your system so the things you fear doing don’t cause the feeling of electrocution or zap that you may experience.
13:25: EFT is More Than Just Self Care and Personal Development
Self love is a tough topic and something that we all need to level-up our understanding of. Self love doesn’t always mean doing the things that are easy – but it DOES mean taking care of yourself while making decisions that are in alignment with your true self. Digging into personal development will allow us to learn things. But no amount of learning is equal to actions.
19:40: How Does EFT Work?
EFT is an acronym for the Emotional Freedom Technique. It incorporates modern psychology with actual tapping (of your body) on meridian endpoints. Our energy system has no concept of time, so no matter if something happened 20 years ago or yesterday – your feelings will be the same. When we do EFT, we acknowledge the history of what happened – then love, accept, and forgive ourselves while tapping the 16 different areas of their body. These taps can be on the side of your hand, the top of your head, around your eyes, below your nose, and other various areas of your body.
29:10: How to EFT Tap & When to Use it in Your Daily Life
Theresa recommends doing EFT every single day. It’s not a huge time investment and it’s something that you can incorporate into your daily habits. It’s simply a matter of personal preference. Even incorporating this into your post-workout routine is a simple habit stack that can produce major results.
